OWNER LINDA DERSCHANG’S STORY
Linda started her career as a restaurateur in 1994 when she partnered with the owners of Sub Pop Records to open Linda’s Tavern, a neighborhood dive bar that has become an institution in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. With her unique eye for design and style and 25 years in the bar and restaurant industry, she is one of the architects of the contemporary bar and restaurant culture in Seattle. Since 1994, her restaurant group has grown in the Capitol Hill neighborhood with the all-day, all-night neighborhood restaurant Oddfellows Café + Bar and Little Oddfellows in Elliott Bay Books. Linda has launched twelve successful bars and restaurants, while also staying closely committed to the community and causes, such as women’s reproductive rights. Linda was recently named one of the 30 women who shaped Seattle by Seattle Met.
